Q.1 What is Inner Child Healing?
Inner Child Healing is a therapeutic approach that focuses on addressing unresolved childhood experiences that may be impacting your present-day life. It helps you to connect with the wounded parts of yourself, offering them compassion, understanding, and healing. By nurturing your inner child who was once neglected, rejected, abandoned, bullied or abused you can release old patterns, heal emotional wounds, and cultivate greater self-love, joy, and inner peace.

Anyone who experiences recurring patterns of:
- Low self-esteem or self-worth
- Difficulty setting boundaries
- Relationship challenges

-
Q.3 What are Inner Child Healing sessions like?
Sessions are conducted in a safe and supportive environment, where we use various techniques such as guided visualizations, imagery work, breath-work, body tapping and gentle dialogue to connect with your inner child. We'll explore past experiences, identify unmet needs, and offer healing and nurturing to those younger parts of yourself. The focus is on creating a compassionate and understanding relationship with your inner child, revisiting core memories with the guidance of the therapist, releasing the emotional and physical charge associated with it leading to greater self-acceptance, healing and emotional well-being.
-
Q.4 How long does Inner Child Healing take?
Healing is a journey, not a destination. While some individuals experience significant shifts relatively quickly, others may require more time to process and integrate their experiences. The duration of therapy depends on individual needs and goals. We can discuss a personalized plan during a consultation, like how many sessions you wish to take in a month.
-
Q.5 Can Inner Child Healing help me with specific issues like for example, relationship problems?
Yes, Inner Child Healing can be very effective in addressing relationship challenges. Often our relationship patterns are rooted in early childhood experiences. By healing inner child wounds related to attachment, trust, and intimacy, you can develop healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
-
Q.6 I'm worried about reliving negative childhood experiences. Is that part of the process?
While we may gently explore past experiences to understand their impact, the focus of Inner Child Healing is on healing and integration, not reliving trauma. We work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, prioritizing safety and creating a supportive space for emotional processing. We will use gentle techniques to reframe past experiences and create new, positive narratives.

Q.7 What happens if I get emotional & cry during a session?
It's perfectly normal and even healthy to experience emotions during a session. Your feelings are sacred and will be welcomed. I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to express your feelings without any judgment. I will guide you through these emotions with compassion and understanding, helping you to process them in a healthy way.
-
Q.8 Do we address all the client's issues during one healing session?
No, we keep our focus on one issue with your permission. For example, addressing ‘anger issues’ during a single session as we need to go to the roots of it, identify the core beliefs associated with it, the attachments that your inner child has with this particular issue & see how to heal, repair & integrate it and give it a new meaning.
-
Q. 9 What will be the duration of the session?
A session can roughly last between 1.5 hours-2.5 hours.
-
Q.10 How to prepare myself for the session?
Ensure you have a private space where you won’t be disturbed for the duration of the session. Bring in a bottle of water, earphones and have a stable internet connection. Try to keep a gap after meals. I will guide you through the entire journey and you’ll be supported well.
